RedButterfly Old Updates Friday, December 24, 2004 Wow, it's only been about a month since we updated last. Still not blazing fast but certainly better than we had been doing. ^_^ I hope you'll all enjoy our latest offering, another chapter of Tsubasa Wo Motsu Mono. This is the first chapter of volume 2 and introduces 2 new characters. ^_^ I get a kick out of Touya. (I want to see those pictures he talks about!) Thanks to Shadow for translating, and to our new editor Tawnie, who managed to get this chapter done despite fighting off sickness. This is also our first chapter with scans from ^Deathscythe^. Thanks to him we have scans up to volume 3! ^_^ Shadow's translated up to chapter 3 of volume 2 so we're really cooking along now! We could still use help, especially with translations for the doujinshi we have so far and more Tsubasa. If you want to help please let me know. I really apologize if anyone has emailed me in the past 2 weeks or so, my computer was broken and I was super busy at both my jobs and I'm VERY behind in my replies. Check out the snazzy new layout! Aren't we fancy now? ^_^ Everybody thank Denni for donating it to us! It makes me feel very motivated. It's like getting dressed up to go somewhere special, now that we've got our fancy duds on we're ready to do something cool! (Or perhaps I'm just easily influenced.) Anyway! I'm working out with my new volunteer editors on who's going to do what, so this this just a small update. Today we're have a short story by Natsuki Takaya, Knockin' On the Wall and the omake pages from Tsubasa Wo Motsu Mono. This finishes up volume one of the Tsubasa Wo Motsu Mono manga! (YAY!) Hopefully it won't take us too long to get into book two! Head on over to the new section just for Tsubasa! I've also added summaries for each of the doujinshi we currently have up for download. I plan to add brief summaries for the ones we have waiting on standby in our next update. (Wish me luck!) You may have noticed there is a new link on the side 'Donate to Redbutterfly.' I found a translator that will translate just about anything for .50 a page. (That's extremely cheap!) I (Merrow) am paying to get some things translated, but I could use some help getting more done. No matter if anyone donates, Redbutterfly will continue. Things just might move faster if we do get some ^^; Lastly welcome some of our new staff members, Tawnie and Iruka's Girl. These two lovely ladies are donating some of their time to help edit Tsubasa. They're really working hard to bring more to you as soon as possible! ~Merrow Sunday, October 17, 2004 Yay! Tusbasa Wo Motsu Mono Chapter 3 is finally out! Go on over to the downloads section and grab the chapter, full of Raimon-y goodness. Well, Geeze, took us long enough. >_< Sorry about the long delay, but RedButterfly is suffering from a severe lack of editors for Tsubasa. I think chapter 3 went through 4 before I just finished it off myself. (I couldn't have done it without Usa-P and especially Naori-kun's help!) We also really need more translators to help us out with our doujinshi projects. I've had scans for months and months and have no translators. ;_; Some of these doujinshi are really cute too! I've reorganized the downloads and projects pages to be a little easier to read. Each project is marked with what we need help with, so if anyone wants to help, please drop me a line! merrow

Today we've got a double treat, just because we've been away for so long. First up is what everyone's been waiting for... More Tsubasa! That's right, chapter 2a is now up and available to all. Enjoy! And going along with RedButterfly's orginal purpose of translating and scanlating Doujinshi we've got a the last chapter (a stand alone short story) of Lovely Baby available as well! It's a funny little story that nicely features some overlooked characters (Motoko the head fangirl, Hatsuharu, Hana-chan). Take a look in the projects page for the downloads. More doujin goodness for you this week, and this time it's got a bit of an adult flavor. ^_~ This week we've got the PG-13 (for shots of Tooru in her bra and panties) Gag Doujin, "Those Silly Sohmas Part 2". Part 2? No you didn't miss part 1. "Those Silly Sohmas" had two completely different stories in one magazine, we've decided to release the second one first. We'll get around to the first part eventually. ^_^ Head on over to the downloads section to grab it and have a good laugh. This is one of my personal favorites so far. ^_^ Also RedButterfly is proud to be hosting Jill-san's great original doujin "Love Elevator" now up to two chapters! This really is a great storyline she's got going and I love the expressions she manages to get on her characters! I like Manabe as the narrator is great! (And I just love her Shigure characterization, his lines are too perfect!) This too has a slightly adult flavor with some sexual situations and brief nudity in chapter 2. Saturday, August 16, 2003 Well, it's been entirely too long since our last update. Sorry about that, it was my fault completely. Our editors and translators have been hard at work and I dropped the ball because I was busy with other things. I went to Otakon 2003 (and prepared 4 dolls, a bunch of keychains, and stickers and magnets) as well as making a website for a new up and coming band (they just recently had their CD release party at Hard Rock Cafe Boston). Whew, it was a busy month! But to thank you all for being so patient, we've got not only one release for you guys, but 2! We've got the final chapter of Dear, "Dear...Hatori" that wraps up on a nice, warm and fuzzy feeling. ^_^ And we've got the first chapter of "Apple" a cute Yukiru story. This one is PG (for implied violence), and is an angsty little tale about Haru, Rin and Gure. To counter the angst we've got an uber cute all orginal doujinshi in the Doujinshi online section written and drawn by Ina-chan! It's called Mimai (Sympathy for the Sick), check it out!
